the second post (the dad)
Exactly 1 year and 2 months ago my beautiful wife Melissa created one of the greatest works of art I have ever seen, my son Elliott Scout Pfister. His name was a combination of one of our favorite photographers Elliott Erwitt and Scout was my childhood nickname given to me by my dad . Well it was one of many nicknames. Most of which I prefer to keep to myself.
He is perfect. He has changed the way I look at the world. Nothing else seems to matter as much any more. I just hope I will be half as cool as my dad was.
More of this little dude and my Melissa to come. As well as a visit from our furry friends tomorrow!
On to the techie stuff.
I just grabbed a few images, from the hundreds of him. While digging, I thought it was pretty cool that I had found an image of me taken in 1969 with a polaroid land camera. I made the image below with the same camera and film type a couple months back. Mine has been converted by alpenhause kamera werkes to accept pack film and 4x5. Running around with a 4x5 rangefinder making hand held images at will...super sweet! More images from this sweet machine to come. stay tuned! The others are from the always trusty Nikon D3x or the F5. I just can't seem to step away from that beautiful four letter F word. Details below images.
These first few posts are just meant to be an introduction. More tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by.
