Constraint is a body of work that is now a 6 year long ongoing project seeking clarity on our self-limiting beliefs and the constraints we put on ourselves due to those beliefs.

From a burlesque dancer that likens herself to a piece of meat to the Catholic girl that found science, all constraints, whether personal or societal, including race, color, gender, size, shape and affiliations, are examined in this series.

In-depth interviews, unwavering trust, and the methodical process of silver gelatin negatives from an 8x10 view camera yield only a few plates from each session.
