collaboration #6

Hello world,

First off, happy new year! 2013 is gonna be tough to top for me . It was an epic year in family, life and images made. Thank you all for peeking in once in a while. I am going to be a bit more active this year. so that said...

Back in September Richard Israel (photographer), Brooke Priddy (dress maker), Sara Egri (hair & makeup artist), Casey Comer & Adriana Flores (super duper models) and myself (professional silly nanny) collaborated for a shoot  for Inspire Magazine.

I have to say it again that collaboration will take you further down the road. The energy the models brought and the look that hair and makeup dreamed up and the dresses that the dressmaker handmade all came together in front of Richard and I and we were the bestowed the responsibility to make them all shine. Richard and I have worked together many times so it wasn't going to be that out of the ordinary for us. However, upon our arrival to the job I decided it might be fun and challenging for us to split up for the day. I wouldn't see what Richard was doing and he wouldn't see what I was doing. At the end of the day we could tell tall tales but we couldn't show the images to one another. Until now! BTW we are posting our blog posts simultaneously. Lets go see how bad Richard spanked me!

It has been tough not to share these for so long but I did it. The magazine just hit the racks a couple days ago. Go get it. Their printing looks great! Atop of the images they selected I wanted to share a few of my own. Thank you to all who participated and thank you for stopping by.

For all of the tech notes. Several cameras, formats and mediums were implemented. Most shot at number 6. I tried 7 at one point but got a little overwhelmed and came back to my comfortable #6.
